WAITIRI CREEK PINOT NOIR

2014 Central Otago Pinot Noir

Fragrant perfume, herb, mushroom, and a hint of spicy oak.

The palate is dry with sweet, stewed plum, Xmas cake, leather, mushroom and tobacco. Richly textured with very fine silky tannins. Complex and concentrated. Medium to full-bodied with a lingering sweet cherry finish.

Aging beautifully and drinking well now! Has a few more years in it.
- Pete Bartle (Wine Maker)

2013 Central Otago Pinot Noir

Ripe, warm and sweetly fragrant, the inviting bouquet shows dark cherry, plum, game and truffle characters with hints of cedar and vanilla. The palate offers terrific fruit richness and generous texture, beautifully framed by fine tannins. The wine is immediately appealing, although it will develop greater complexity with time. Pretty delicious.

HARRIET ROSÉ

2021 Central Otago Rosé

With 100% Pinot Noir it has great colour of peach and onion skin, very polished and shiny. On the nose- aromas of Gibbston and rose with scents of mineral and red cherry, red melon and raspberry. Has a silky texture as the wine touches the palate then flavours of fresh red cherry, apple skin, some peach and red papaya. WAITIRI CREEK CHARDONNAY

2015 Central Otago Chardonnay SOLD OUT

As with all our wines, the fruit for this wine was hand harvested. This was followed by whole bunch pressing. Made in a fruit-driven New World style, this wine shows all the influences of classic Old World winemaking. Six months on French oak has produced a rich, succulent palate with and appealing texture and outstanding primary fruit.

WAITIRI GEWÜRZTRAMINER

2016 Waitiri Creek Gewürztraminer

Really good colour with a core of yellow and pale golden tones leading to a fragrant, almost heady bouquet of spice and white fleshed fruits, some fresh, some baked. The spice and floral tones of the variety are loud and clear along with a light toasty quality from bottle development. Satin-cream texture as the wine touches the palate, moderate acidity then flavours that reflect the bouquet finishing with a spice and dried herb quality.

Balanced and ready to drink from today - Cameron Douglas, MS
